Website privacy notice

Last updated: 4 October 2026. This notice covers the Chef Engine preview website and waitlist. The Chef Engine app has its own app privacy policy.

Joining the waitlist

When you submit your email, we use Resend to store your contact record and send a confirmation email. We also store the signup time, which signup form you used, an opaque request identifier, and confirmation status. Product updates are opt-out by default. You join only after pressing the confirmation button on the linked page.

Confirmation links expire after 24 hours. They contain signed contact and request identifiers, not your email address. A link that has already been used cannot resubscribe you. To rejoin after unsubscribing, submit a fresh signup and confirm the new email.

Hosting and abuse prevention

Vercel hosts this website and its signup endpoints. It processes network information such as IP addresses to serve requests and enforce security and rate limits. A hidden form field and a short resend cooldown help prevent abuse. Website infrastructure logs may include request paths, so we do not write email values or confirmation tokens into application logs.

Anonymous usage analytics

When configured, PostHog measures page visits, tour choices, FAQ opens and closes, signup attempts, accepted confirmation emails, errors and completed signups. Browser tracking uses cookieless mode, with person profiles, automatic event capture and session replay disabled. We do not send email addresses, confirmation tokens, URL query strings or provider error messages as analytics properties.

Confirmation pages do not run browser analytics. A completed signup generates an anonymous event from the server. PostHog may process technical network information to count anonymous activity; we do not identify visitors or link their activity to waitlist email addresses.

Your choices

Joining the waitlist is free and does not start a subscription. You can ignore a confirmation email you did not request. Future product-update emails include Resend’s unsubscribe controls. We keep the waitlist record to manage confirmation and email preferences until it is deleted; expiry of a link does not delete the record automatically.

To request access, correction or deletion of your waitlist information, contact slinex.company@gmail.com. We use this information to run the waitlist and communicate about Chef Engine. This website does not collect meal preferences, allergies, payment details or app account information.

Service providers and external links

Our website providers are Vercel, Resend and, when analytics is enabled, PostHog. Provider processing and storage locations depend on the configured accounts. YouTube and Instagram links open those services, where their own privacy notices apply.
